1. Zero Permanent Storage Commitment
PDF24Creator operates on a strict ephemeral model. When you upload a document for processing (such as merging, converting, or editing), the file is written to an encrypted, randomized temporary storage location. Files are processed exclusively in memory or temporary disk cache and are automatically deleted within 1 hour by our automated garbage collector.
2. No Account or Registration Required
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or user profile information. All 84 tools are available directly without registration, user tracking, or login credentials.
3. Document Security & Access Control
Uploaded files are stored outside public web access and are shielded with server-level access controls (Deny from all). File downloads require non-guessable, high-entropy cryptographic session tokens that expire after 2 hours.
4. Client-Side Processing Privacy
Whenever technically possible, operations such as visual PDF page rearrangement, page deletion, or rendering previews occur directly inside your browser via WebAssembly and JavaScript without your documents ever leaving your device.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use strictly functional, essential session cookies (PHPSESSID) to manage your active download session and CSRF security verification. We do not use third-party tracking, profiling, or advertising cookies. The browser's local storage is optionally used to remember your recently accessed tools.
